Thanks to Robin Smith for planning and trying to get some new angles of orienteering at Alice Holt and to Paul Keeble for his first venture into controlling.

Alice Holt is a bit of a "Marmite" area, but orienteers need to be able to adapt to all the various challenges, Thankfully although today was declared a non league counter it was still well attended. It was declared as a non league counter as the Army had made today a Operational Training day for all soldiers in most units.  I was very happy to have regn/download inside and even had cups of tea provided, thanks to Helen for that, so in return I got several people to complete the FE outdoor actiivity survey, thanks to those who took contributes.

Some of you may know you can get membership of your local FE park for £70 a year and get free parking there, but did you also realise that you can get National FE membership for just £95 a year and then get free parking across the country in any FE car park, well worth it as some can charge up to £10 a day.
