Standing Instructions
Defence Infrastructure Organisation
All organisers are reminded of the importance of fully complying with DIO Standing Orders when using Military Training Areas for their events. Organisers are also to ensure that all the members of the planning, controlling and organising team treat any Training Area Marshals with respect and comply immediately with any instructions they may give.
Organiser's Guides
Risk Assessment & Safety Procedures
Included below are templates that may form the basis for each Organiser's own Risk Assessment, taking into account any further potential risks. At a military event the Event Action & Safety Plan is approved by the unit CoC, but it is good practice for it to be reviewed first by the event Controller. At a civilian event, the BOF Risk Assessment must be used and is to be approved by a BOF Controller or qualified Coach
