Latest update on our man in the hospital-Colin Holcombe???

For those of you wondering where the loud trouser man has been of late below are some rolling updates.

Update 3:  Colin Holcombe has now been moved to Southampton General Hospital CCU WARD D2, Bay 3

Update 2:  Colin had an ablation operation nearly 2 weeks ago which unfortunately didn't quite catch all the problems which had been causing the VTs(heart racing), so there is a possibility of a different type of operation to try and stop them via the nerves coming from the neck that lead to the heart.

He is keeping himself occupied, which is obviously a little difficult as he is on permanently bed rest and feels pretty weak..  By this time next week they might be in a better position as far as results.  So 21 days and still counting. Update 1:  Colin Holcombe was admitted into Southampton Hospital 10 days ago (having only been releasd 3 hours prior to that after an earlier scare!  Colin remained stable over that weekend with no VT (heart racing) which is what the Doctors wanted for now. Patient was eating and drinking a little more. He sat out of bed for 5 minutes and so perhaps soon he will be able to sit out for longer.   The staff turned his bed around so he could see out of the large picture window which he really enjoyed. The view is of trees and sky and he can see people walking to and fro. Still not sleeping for very long at a time as the flow of oxygen is loud passing by his ear and the tubes up his nose are getting uncomfortable now. Colin has since had a small op on his heart to try and rectify the problem so we all wish him well and a speedy recovery, although no driving again for another 6 months.
