Congratulations to Richard Barrett on becoming the M45 British Sprint Champion at Saturday's event at Bath University.  He won by 4 seconds, having only taken the lead over the last 4 controls, so it seems that a slow start worked well.  Richard Mawer was just off the Podium in 4th place.

But Axel Blomquist was BAOC's other medallist - Bronze in M65.  Well done.

Matt Ryder and Rob Ashton ran the Open Class: neither was fast enough (top 6 in the Heats) to attain the A Final, with both in th eB Final, where Matt (21st) beat Rob (29th) by 36 secs.  Mick Brett finished 6th in the M50 B Final, whilst Stuart Ebbrell took 14th in the M40 A Final - a success in this high quality field.

Eleven BAOC runners in Sunday's Middle Championships on Stock Hill.  Good luck to them.
