Thanks to Dave Chapman SN for planning and Pete Jones SN for quality courses and getting round the trip hazard when DIO started cutting down the wood around the last few controls. A quick adjustment saw a workable solution for todays event. Those confused by having finishes either side of the road should remember events can have more than one finish, in this case it was either side of the road so that the SG & VSG cses did not have to sprint across traffic, these shorter cses did an out and back loop in the NW corner of the map, so came to the finish from the north and it was felt dangerous to have them cross near a bend.
The troops on the ground I don't believe cause anyone any challenge and it proves that we can share. They had hoped we might find their drone they had lost!
We are off to the New Forest next week to Homlsley, which was an RAF base during the war, opened in 1942 and de-commissioned in late 1946. British and American bombers used the field. The area is a mix of open heathland which will test your precision navigation and Holmsley Inclosure where route choice will be key.
