Thanks for coming to Everleigh after a busy JK weekend, hopefully you enjoyed running on the plain, despite the overcast weather, rather than in the Yorkshire dales, well at least for the southern part of the map, the north was a bit overgrown in places, but this is the only time we could get onto the area having been rejected a couple of times, at least it is not July when we were originally scheduled to come here. Next year we will look to come in winter and for proper line courses!
Anyway thanks Colin M and Nick for the courses, kept the runners busy, especially on the Spanish Score.
Note: On all courses that crossed the main road I have removed the split to control 36.
Next week we are off to Blandford Camp in Dorset and the Royal Signals are covering all the tasks. The camp includes a lot of backdoor trg area so the map is a huge A3. Lots of buildings, woods and a lot of route choice on all courses. Get it wrong and you could double your distance on that leg.
No EOD as I need to supply the guardroom with a start list, so if you have anyone coming along who is not down to run a course then email me on: allan.emituk@gmail.com with their details so I can manually add them.
Not Everleigh, but another action shot, who knows which unit she is, in her smart O top?
