We hope you all enjoyed your run around this brand new area, it was certainly a challenge, firstly adapting to the 1:4000 scale and then the switch from urban into the intrigue nature of the range complex. The bracken was quite runnable in most places but did mean you had to be spot on with navigation to see the controls. The wooded areas between the firing lanes do not get entered much so bracken does not get flatten when dead as in other areas.
Thanks to Pete Jones of SN for some great courses and Steve Mckinley SN for controlling. The RLC ran most of the event, ably steered by Maj Richard Barrett, great to have the bldg as a base, sorry about the shortage of loos though. BAOC members helped with the Southern Nights aspects and thanks especially to Andy MacGregor for the stalwart running of the start in freezing conditions.
