IOF World Championship Bronze Medal!

Lt Col Charles Bromley Gardner has been competing for the British Trail Orienteering team this week in the World Championships near Monsanto in Portugal.  (You may remember that he planned both days of TrailO at JK19.)  After a disastrous start in the individual competition, he was still selected for the British team of three in the Relay Championship (with John Kewley MDOC and Tom Dobra BOK).  All came good on the day, with none making any errors (one of only two of the 21 Open teams so do to) in the PreO stage; a steady TempO stage allowed Spain to come past to take the Silver medal behind the hot favourites Finland, but gave Great Britain the World Bronze Medal, following the European Championship Bronze Medal in 2018.
