This weekend the world’s MTB Orienteers are heading to Portugal for the World Cup Final. The program is Middle Distance, Long Distance and the final Sprint on Sunday.
The free session will take place at 7 pm, Thursday 27th September, titled Coaching for mixed abilities.
Already Christmas seems not too far away and with it the deadline of 1st Jan 2019 approaches, by which time maps used for all levels of event should be drawn to ISOM 2017.

World Cup Round 3 took place in Sarpsbog, Norway from 31st August - 2nd September 2018. With Sarpsborg being the location for the World Orienteering Championships 2019 these races were a great opportunity to do some racing in similar terrain.

The British Sprint Championships are now only three days away and the organisers are busy making the final preparations.
SROC (or Red Rose Orienteers as we market ourselves locally) have about 120 total members in total. Of those, we have 26 Juniors in 16 families plus 1 Junior without a family! (well, not in the club anyway). So juniors are 22% of our membership.
